Celtic Tattoos as Wedding Rings

Most people who get married get traditional wedding rings from a local jeweler. Others order something slightly more creative from an international wedding supply distributor or a private jewelry designer. But the way that a few people decide to celebrate the permanency of their love is by getting tattoos together that represent their love for one another.
In some cases, the couple will opt to get each other’s names tattooed on to one another’s bodies. In other cases, they will get matching tattoos. For example, they may each get lower back tattoos of a symbol that combines each other’s zodiac signs.
However, the most common wedding tattoo that you’ll see is the wedding ring tattooed on to the ring finger where an actual wedding ring would go. This isn’t the kind of ring that a couple would look at a tattoo flash to find. They usually create their own unique design to represent their love for one another. But those people who aren’t so artistically inclined will typically opt to get Celtic tattoos of the traditional Claddagh ring.
Getting a wedding ring tattooed on to your body is painful. There isn’t a lot of cushion in the finger to protect you from the pain of the tattoo needle. But it’s definitely a way to symbolize the fact that you plan for this relationship to be permanent!
