Recycling Old Cell Phones
Posted by HomeBiz on 03/31/09 in General
There is a secret drawer in every home that houses abandoned and unused cell phones. Like a trip down memory lane, the drawer holds generations of cell phones and old cellular phone accessories once used and long discarded for the next generation of latest and greatest technology. Why do we keep these old cell phones, cell phone batteries, charges, headsets and even the old leather cases? Just in case we ever need them again.
We used to keep the old phones in case we lost or broke the newer replacement phone. As the cell phone technologies got better and the phones got smaller, we realized we’d never use them but we still kept shoving the old discards into our junk drawer. Realizing the error of our ways, we decided to recycle the old phones.
Emptying out each generation of phone was funny. The cell phones from ten years ago would make great prompts for movies because they were a sign of the times. The 1990’s version of our cell phones and the old tactical headsets brought back memories of the first years of our cell phone usage. The cell phones from today are just a fraction of their predecessors with their sleek designs and skinny batteries. Can you imagine walking around with those old cell phones today?
