Believe it or not, one of the best times I’ve ever had was at a wedding I attended a few years back. The bride and groom had hired this incredible Tampa wedding day DJ to keep the reception rolling along. The DJ was right on the entire time. This guy didn’t skip a beat! He played the right music at the right time, remembered to announce and head up all the formalities, such as the toast, and even had a few tunes tucked away to delight the bride and groom’s grandparents.

As my own big day approaches, I asked the bride how she managed to land such a find. She told me she was rather picky about the entire process. She started her search for the DJ on the Internet, and did the same thing to hire a Tampa wedding photographer and a Tampa wedding videographer.  Not only did she compile a short list of names and numbers using the Internet, but she also sought out recommendations online, as well. Her videographer, DJ and photographer were the ones who had the best reports.

She didn’t rely on recommendations alone, however. She also took the time to review portfolios, host individual interviews and really see which pros she gelled with. The end result was an incredible wedding that still stands out as one heck of a day not only for her and her husband, but also everyone in attendance.
