Free Photoshop Tutorials and Other Classroom Tools

Every good teacher should be working to regularly update the way that she educates students about using the Internet. This is true for students as young as elementary school and as old as college age. That’s because there are always new tools coming out which can be implemented by students to improve their own work.
For example, you can use free photoshop tutorials in the classroom to teach children a variety of online skills. These tutorials can be downloaded and used in conjunction with an educational copy of photoshop to teach the basics of photo manipulation, inserting images into blog posts, and using images on websites. This is also a great teaching tool for launching a discussion of copyright rules.
One way to implement these tutorials in a way that students can understand them is to set up a blog community for the classroom. Using free blog templates, each student can create a blog. The students can then use the tutorials to create images which are uploaded to the blog. These can then be discussed on a template forum designed specifically for the classroom. The interaction occurring online brings together multiple skill sets to teach students about using online tools to enhance their work.
