YES!! I finally got a job.  It’s hardly my dream job-it’s with a telesales consulting company.  Still, it’s actually pretty cool, because they’re making some innovative progress with outsourcing insurance sales.  I love the people I’m working with.  There’s this one sassy redhead who definitely makes my workday go by faster, and the guys there are pretty cool.  We’ve been talking about setting up a Sunday night football club, watching it at each other’s apartments, and this one guy, Mike, we’ve been tossing around a baseball on breaks.  They have this nice little garden in the complex, and it’s pretty key.  It definitely makes you feel like you’re in a different world from when you’re working in outsource inside sales.  Moreover, he’s a Red Sox fan, which is awesome, because I feel like the Red Sox have been getting pretty maligned lately, and I need the backup, you know?  Plus, it’s always good to fend off the Yankees fans when you’re living in New Jersey.  The best part about getting a job is that I can finally start looking to move out of my out of the way, hideous shoebox apartment.  Although moving that bed isn’t going to be fun; it was hard enough getting it in there.  It’s worth it, though.  Overall, things are going pretty well I’d say:  good job, some new friends, and soon a new place to live!
