Are Zone Delivery Clones the Next Home Business Trend?

You’ve almost certainly heard of Chefs Diet zone delivery, the celebrity-endorsed diet program that delivers healthy food to your doorstep. This is hardly the first in weight loss programs that are based on specific diet meals that are delivered to your home but it’s an important one because of the amount of attention that it’s gained. More specifically, it’s important because it has spawned a number of diet plans which are basically clones of the original program. It’s relatively easy to start a business these days and we may be seeing a new trend in this kind of business.

Home-based businesses are increasingly common. If you can work from a home office using a successful marketing plan to develop your business, then there’s no reason that virtually any home-based business should be unsuccessful. People who have experience, education and knowledge in the fitness and diet industry may find that they can launch a home-based career using this expertise. The number of people who want to lose weight is large (no pun intended) so the customer base for an online weight loss business is huge.

Of course, from the consumer’s perspective, the weight loss program should have some credibility. As such, an online business of this kind is going to need to build up a reputation. The zone diet did so because of celebrity endorsements but any kind of word-of-mouth would suffice. Will we see a growing number of online weight loss programs based on diet meal deliveries or is this just a fad that is going to fade?
